personality: Perhaps the first thing you should know about little Bella is that she is a firecracker waiting to go off. She holds tons of regret for being so careless when she should have been with his Father and this guilt is harboured inside of her heart, weighing heavily on the body and often the mind as well. Despite this though she tries to live her life the best she can. She eats healthy and works out often; she works hard and tells things like it is. She gets made and vents her anger in her diary or on her blog but other than that she is a regular as any other person. She likes rainy days and sunny days and curling up with a good book, but she also likes to hike, run and work out during the day as well. Often she can be spotted on a midnight walk around the town or at the convenient store late at night to get some milk. She has, currently, no pets of her own but plans to get a cat or two in the future.
Bella is the type of person to say exactly what she is feeling and normally she won’t hold back. She is a great friend if you want someone with an honest and true opinion…although you might want to make sure you can handle this full time as Bella has no ‘off’ button. She is the epitome of a great friend, but that doesn’t mean she will hold any restraint when speaking with you.
This being said she loves to work out and is probably at her calmest after having worked all the bones in her body. She is an active girl who likes swimming, jogging, and basically exerting effort in any way she can. Despite all her attempts to tone her body though it seems her stomach remains the same size no matter what. It lacks that abdominal muscles that she so desires and hopefully with hard work she will one day receive. Inside her eyes one may find a lot of information or none, it really depends on the day you meet her and what she hopes to reveal. She describes herself as a closed book but if the right eyes managed to look in her direction they would see right through her.

history: Father – Perkin Allen Lee – Deceased
Grandmother – Amanda Ellen Eve – Deceased – middle name derived from the Grandmother she never got the opportunity to meet.
Born and raised with animals and nature Arabella was instilled with a respect for nature and all that lives within it. Her father was a hard worker; he did everything in his power to keep their ranch afloat. He would work from 5:00am in the morning until 11:00pm at night and never once did she hear him complain. Her mother Lily was a blessing around the house as she was always fueled with energy, always moving around her home and cleaning and tidying. She was the epitome of a clean freak and yet Arabella adored her like no other. As an only child she was often doted upon but that did not make up for her lack of siblings and friends. She had no neighbours to speak of and really she only hung out with her parents and her teddy bears. Comfortable in this lifestyle she was, but found herself longing for more. She began to explore the forested edge of their property, and examining the strange wild animals that lie within.
When she was four years of age they got their first two horses and Arabella was immediately drawn to them. Her father would put her on the back of the smallest horse and walk around with her as he held her sides, protecting her from falling. Her mother would watch from the window as she washed dishes and laughed when Arabella waved at her and almost fell on her Father’s head. These horses were bought primarily for working the fields with her Father, but that did not stop Arabella from riding them.
By the age of six Arabella, also known as Bella had become accustomed to helping out on the ranch. She was able to clean the horse’s hooves carefully, and brush their underbelly, at least the spots she could reach. She was allowed to feed the goats and chickens under careful supervision of her Mother and she could even sit on the horse all by herself now. She was growing up quite fast.
Maybe a bit too fast.
By the time she was twelve Bella had become a full blown ranch hand, helping her father and mother in the fields and even mucking out the stalls. She could tack up the horses by herself, granted she had to get her father’s help to put on the saddle if she bothered to even use one at all, but the rest she could do herself! She was even being taught how to jump with the horses in preparation for the Equestrian events. Her mother decided that at thirteen she would be finally ready.
In school she was obsessed with horses and did all her projects on them if the teachers would allow. She spoke about them all the time and her locker was adorned with them. This fascinated all her city friends who had never really taken the time to be near horses. Somehow this made her feel special, like she was a diamond in the rough. It only enamored her more with equines. This didn’t last long however as the city kids grew they lost interest in horses and became more absorbed in their social and media lives. Slowly Bella found herself being left behind, and she desperately wanted to keep up.
There was a tender balance between her city life and home life but as she grew so did her desire to be away and with her friends. As she neared the age of thirteen her mother became concerned about her daughters priorities. It was around this age that she had been spending more time with her new friends from school and noticing the boys around the yard, neglecting the animals and family that she left at home. Although her mother saw it coming from a mile away her daughter had not heeded her warning. Now seemingly very suddenly Arabella was in a balancing act with her family and her friends. What would any other thirteen year old decide?
It was decided that she would wait to enter the Equestrian events and instead she began spending more time in the city, drawn to it by its allure of flashing lights and moving bodies. As she grew so do did her habits and eventually she became the angst-y teen that every parent dreads. She spent little to no time at home helping her father or mother, and she almost always stayed out past her curfew causing tension in the air of her family home. It was not long after that one of the horses passed away and soon followed his best friend. It was assumed they just could not live without one another. Although a blow, it was still not enough to get Bella on the track her Mother and Father so desperately needed her to be on.
At sixteen years of age she was out of control and her father had taken ill. With disease attacking his system he was forced to be bed-ridden and it was then and only then that Arabella came to her senses. She said good-bye to her friends at school and returned home to her family, agonized by the sight of her Father in his deathbed.
“Pa Pa?” she asked gently, her voice barley a whisper above the sound of machines keeping him alive, helping him breathe.
“Bella…” He smiled and it was so sincere that she could tell it pained him to move his face like that. She knew he didn’t have much time and suddenly she regretted having ever left him at all.
“Pa Pa I am so sorry. I…I don’t know what to do…” She reached out for his hand and his grip in return was weak. His raspy breath barley got his words out of his chest.
“Bella please…take care of your mother and…for god’s sake Bella take care of yourself…” A catch in his throat prevented him from saying more, but he didn’t need to go on. Arabella knew what he meant and that what she had been doing this entire time was throwing her life away. It was in that moment that she vowed to change herself, and become something that she had wanted to be since a child.
Three years later and she was with a man, working as an artist for a local business and also as a trainer for the horses down the road. Things seemed to be going quite well for her until one day her boyfriend came home and surprised her with a promotion. He was moving up the political ladder and he wasn’t planning on taking her with him. It was about this time that she was forced into this place with little idea why. She was ripped from her jobs, her boyfriend kissed her good bye and the next thing she knew she was standing on the asylum doorstep being deemed ‘too depressed to function normally’. What a load.
