Hundreds of long and rushing vines creeping around corners and over stones. The sun hung high in the sky, and a heat seeped across the land. Grass grew long and tall, waving lazily in the breeze that blew along the rolling hills. Bending and sprawling in the waves, two icy blue eyes watched from a small aclove, overlooking the large expanse of water. The pool of glistening blue sparkled beneath the sunlight, burning hot and overlooking every area of the land. A tall and slender woman, wearing charms and long and draping pieces of clothing, overlooked the lake. Her arms were crossed, loosely so and her hair hung in a long plait down her back. Wisps of pale blonde flickered around her head, and soon she moved down from her place atop one of the hills to the water's edge. It didn't take her long, lengthy legs managed to carry her fairly smoothly, and soon the woman was sitting comfortably in the long grass. Bare feet soaked in the clear water, and the warmth was welcome. It had been a cold winter in the Symphony Kingdom, and it seemed like finally - finally the warm weather was making another appearance. She doubted it would last long, however. There weren't many good things that lasted for very long in this kingdom, it seemed. It wasn't long after this before Melissa's pointed ears began to twitch and jerk. The pointed tips tingled uneasily, and Melissa had a horrible feeling that she was not alone at the edge of the water. It wasn't unlikely, considering it was a huge lake. Perhaps she was joined by someone with good intentions, for once. Melissa lifted a hand and rubbed at the skin beneath her nose. It wasn't long after that that she noticed the source of the noise, and turning her head, a bright smile smeared the doll like features of the woman. "Hey!" [/style] |
